    Can't say enough good things about [the Enchantress]. Easy to use since I struggle with mouth reeds. I have harvested a bull in 2023 and now in 2024 using the Enchantress! I got into a screaming match with a bull this year and called him in to 15 yards.     I have been hunting elk during the rut in archery season on public access land in Idaho for about 10 years and tried several manufacturer's calls with built in reeds as well as using a reed in my upper palate and a tube. I like the Slayer/enchantress because of the ability to open & close the reed tension with my thumb. It is more forgiving than just a reed in your mouth & fairly easy to learn how to use it. The cow call & bugle has an excellent sound. The folks at Slayer are very helpful as well.

    The ArchAngel bugle tube is exceptional. The Acrylic mouth piece (and back pressure) helps with making a wide variance of elk sounds with way less plastic sound. I am learning to lip bawl and this bugle combined with Slayer reeds (dark blue and lighter blue) I am able to make the sounds I had hoped.
