The Miner Clearwater elk reed is one such tool. Crafted from .003” black latex, this particular diaphragm has a medium stretch and — like all Clearwater reeds — unbeatable durability. This call runs with low air pressure while still hitting high notes at a lower volume. Let loose everything from deep moans to high bugles, simply by playing around with voice and air pressure. The high pitch of the black latex makes the most realistic cow and calf sounds, perfect for luring close those wary bulls.

Durability and repeatability don't often go hand in hand with reeds; they do here. These are the best sounding reeds I have ever used and they simply last longer than anything. That's a big deal for a guy who's a dedicated elk hunter, competitor, and coworker- annoyer!
Amazing product. This is 100 percent a do it all call. Cow, calf, bull, what ever you need to do it will do it clear and crisp. Slayer have a lot of great calls but this one will be my go to this season. Very durable call.
