Description

Being a dedicated hunter, you’d naturally be prepared to blow into a speck call like this until you were blue in the face. After all, it’s the mark of a good goose hunter to be completely unconscious from a lack of oxygen by the time the birds arrive.

Alas, that’s no longer necessary.

Thanks to the Tar Belly Slayer, great hunters like you can stay fully awake and oxygenated to take the perfect shot. That’s because this speck call’s exhaust has been uniquely designed to create the perfect back pressure to produce both two- and three-note yodels.

With the Tar Belly Slayer speck call, users don’t need to worry about putting their hands in an exact position to create their own back pressure. Rather, the toneboard and barrel have been designed so that only minimal air pressure is required to turn over the reed.

The result is incredible versatility: soft, realistic clucks and murmurs, as well as loud hail-call yodels. Beginners will love how easy it is to use, while advanced hunters will no doubt appreciate the novelty of putting together a realistic sequence in just one breath.

With its gorgeous acrylic barrel and exhaust, paired with spectacular sound capabilities, the Tar Belly Slayer is a speck call you won’t want to miss.

Slayer gives 10% from each purchase to organizations that protect the environment and wildlife, support conservation efforts and preserve America’s hunting heritage.

Have several spec calls, hands-down, my favorite

  2. Andy Merrell (verified owner)

Awesome awesome call!! Extremely easy to produce yodels and clucks with minimal effort and air. Highly recommend

  3. Kenny Black (verified owner)

Sounds and feels great love the fact that it’s lighter weight than my other goose calls. Just have to figure out how to stop my dog from howling when I blow it! Something about the pitch and tone of my calls ?

  4. Bob B (verified owner)

This is my third Specklebelly call. I hunt Specks down south every fall/winter. By the time they get by me the birds have some experience. So, your results will be better if you have your calling game down. My review is, this call rolls notes smoother than Ted Nugent playing stranglehold! It looks awesome, blows easily one handed, and sounds fantastic. Just an awesome product, even for beginners.

  5. Kevin D (verified owner)

Calls came in and were beautifully crafted. Only a few seasons of duck hunting under my belt and learning on the Tar Belly call for my first speck call is going well, not too hard to find the right amount of back pressure. Appreciate Slayers craftsmanship!

  6. Austin Crowson

Tar Belly Slayer has to be one of the easiest speck calls to use on the market. Beginners this is the call for you!!

  7. Cole Zarecky (verified owner)

Great product! Doesn’t take a lot of air to blow like my other calls and awesome customer service!!

  8. Matt Frediani

The Tar Belly call is a quality built and a great sounding call. The sound of this call is fantastic and it’s built to last. I am very impressed with every Slayer call I have purchased. I also think its great to see the slayer team at sportsman shows. I was able to meet some of the founders of Slayer and they are down to earth people who have hunted their entire life. Its great to see products made by people who know whats needed and I really feel there’s no better calls on the market then Slayer.

  9. Todd Tucker (verified owner)

This being my first spec call. I was able to pick it up and get it to start sounding like a spec right away. This is a call that I will grow into. High quality call.
